A very lovely way to end my christmas. Fairly clean place, compact rooms, fairly friendly staff. Modern hotel in a magnificent setting down a hill. Also - just off the centre of Winchester and Winchester on a Saturday afternoon. Great customer service, including excellent breakfasts with yogurts, toast offered from the owner plus fruit.

The location was pretty good, and we had fun walking into winchester. Breakfast being left outside our room was a nice touch, even tho we had to squeeze in it since the room was kinda small. The overall vibe was pleasant, and richard was nice when we met him.
the room was really small and had no soundproofing at all, awkward to hear our neighbors.

Cozy, well-maintained double room, complete with a private bathroom just across the hall. Breakfast delivered in-room offered a nice, personal touch.
Overnight stay got a bit hot due to the thick duvet, leading to some uncomfortable tossing and turning. The provided WiFi information wasn't clear, leaving me unsure if it was available. There could've been more tea bags for a proper cuppa.

What a letdown. The 'double room with private bathroom' should be a proper hotel, but the bathroom was tiny, and sound travels way too easily-like sleeping next to the highway. To top it off, i expected complimentary treats for my stay, but that wasn't in the cards. I almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

A cozy stay with a good breakfast
The breakfast tray was generous and definitely set me up for the day. The room was nice, clean, and stocked with all we needed, and Richard's warm hospitality. The only thing to note is that the room got a bit warm during the night.
